Management Committee
We are currently looking for new members to join us on the management committee, preferably with some previous experience of managing a small business/voluntary organisation, and with fresh energy and commitment! See the Co-op page for dates of meetings.

You need to be able to:-
- Work within a committee
- Communicate well
- Listen to others
- Make decisions
- Get on well with other MC members
- Fulfill the responsibilities of the MC
Responsibilities:-
- Agree, uphold and review policy
- Recruit, select, employ and manage the workers
- Operate the centre’s grievance procedures
- Ensure the workers have a supervisor
- Regular attendance of meetings (3 hours minimum, every 6 weeks)
- Take on a specific role e.g. treasurer, secretary, publicity, employment, fundraising etc
- Occasional house-sitting, or arrange for others with experience to do so
- Participate in other events e.g. work weeks, sponsored walk etc
- Practical support e.g. DIY, gardening etc
- At certain times, commitment to more time is necessary e.g. interview process and at times of crisis
- Attend appropriate training sessions
- Publicity
- Fundraising
- Networking
- Providing or arranging childcare when necessary
